List Serve

You can self-subscribe and manage your subscription to our list servers yourself. (A listserv is a program that will "reflect" email sent to it. Sometimes, these are called "reflectors." Many are called "ListServ" because they've been around a long time, since when did all names have to be 8 characters or less?)

Please read these documents:

  • List Serve Etiquette - Please review this etiquette. Any rude members will be unsubscribed!
  • Managing List Email - Some tips about how you can deal with potentially a lot of email from these sort of lists.

Note on Blackwater List: The moderator has detected list activity that matches actions that would be taken by list infiltrators who wish to denigrate the credibility of the Stop Blackwater movement, and that some personalities on the list are actually impersonated by other people. To eliminate this possibility, if you wish to post to this list you must be well known or you must introduce yourself, meet with the moderator (Raymond Lutz) or have a well-known person vouch for you.

Here is the error as provided when the Admin entry point is attempted:

Please inform the webmaster for this site of this problem. Printing of traceback and other system information has been explicitly inhibited, but the webmaster can find this information in the Mailman error logs.
