 http://www.xlnc1.org classical music. yes this is owned partly by the Mexican government, it is a non-commercial, listener supported station. It's not bad either, give it a listen. Next, I'll go back to the FCC and see if it's licensed in the US; I'm guessing not, but I don't know. If it is than KPFK has a grievance and can report the interference; if not ....

 Raymond talked with rep. from KPFK who was complaining about interference by an "illegal" radio station at 90.7Mhz.

Here's the station and probably business offices of the station in Chula Vista. It's about 5 miles from the intl border; however, their tower/XTMR is in BC, Mexico!

KPFK Interference

Raymond talked with rep. from KPFK who was complaining about interference by an "illegal" radio station at 90.7Mhz.

Here's the station and probably business offices of the station in Chula Vista. It's about 5 miles from the intl border; however, their tower/XTMR is in BC, Mexico! BTW I've been listening to KPFK for about an hour, since we talked and haven't noticed any interference. Did the folks from KPFK say how much or what time of day or how long they've been experiencing interference from 90.7 in CV. I'm asking because if it hasn't been too long it's possible that the problem was noticed through a 'proof of performance' test and corrected by their engineers. How long they've been getting interference would answer this question.
