Calendar Keeper Committee

This committee is one of the most important of the club as it keeps track of events and notifies the membership.

Tasks

• You must be registered on the site to do this.
  • Ask Raymond Lutz to enable your access to the email lists.

• Update the Common Calendar
  • Find out about events
    • Receive emails from anyone who has ideas for events.
    • Look up events on web sites, etc. that are important.
    • Word of mouth... any way we can find out about these.
  • Update Event List
    • Format hints are at the bottom (once you're logged in).
    • See How To Add Events for details.

• Notify the membership and others
  • Every Thursday, or sometimes more often (If we discover important events to be sent)
  • Go to Calendar Update
  • View in Print view mode. (Use Firefox or Internet Explorer. Opera does not preserve links.)
  • Copy the contents and paste into an email. The links should remain active.
  • Until you get comfortable with this, send the email to yourself.
  • send to list@ecdcweb.org and announce@ecdcweb.org
  • also to blackwater@citizensoversight.org in most cases.
