OMG! San Clemente is trying a fast one -- to affirm that they are CONSENTING to being a consolidated interim storage site! This Is outrageous and must be removed. THEIR LETTER IS HARDLY ANY ATTEMPT TO BLOCK THE NUKE DUMP BUT SERVES TO EMBRACE IT! and not only that, but as a consent-based site, it would allow ADDITIONAL WASTE TO BE BROUGHT FROM OTHER SITES! I cut out just the pages of the resolution here. WE MUST GET THE WORD OUT ON THIS!

To this end, we call on the CCC to affirm our desire to be considered a "Consent" based community and support San Clemente's efforts to achieve federal recognition for this designation.

This means that San Clemente is asking to be recognized that they are CONSENTING to the waste on the beach!!
