Citizens Oversight (2017-09-20) Ray Lutz

This Page: https://copswiki.org/Common/M1789
More Info: Stop Nuke Dump
Venue: Sizzler Mission Gorge

This is the first in-depth presentation by Ray since the announcement of the settlement on August 28. He will review the background of the waste at San Onofre and show clearly that the site is a bad choice on technical grounds, then explain the details of the settlement and how he sees this rolling out. The unprecedented and historic settlement deal is the first time in the nation a utility has worked on its own to move its waste to a safer place, and for the public, it offers an incredible opportunity to set the course for prudent direction for handling this waste disaster the nuclear utilities are leaving in our laps.
