Many deceptive ProGMO news articles claim that 2000+ studies show that GMOs are "safe". The attached spreadsheet is the actual list of documents.

Actually, there are only 1787 studies actually cited, in the following categories:

The longest studies cited are 90-day studies on rodents, which are the longest toxicological tests that the industry generally carries out. |

Most (more than 1600) have nothing to do with safety, but are dealing with agronomics, gene flow, biodiversity, opinion pieces, customer or farmer opinion surveys. Only a very few are scientific research into safety, and non are long-term studies.
