Many deceptive Pro GMO news articles claim that 2000+ studies show that GMOs are "safe". The attached spreadsheet is the actual list of documents.

Actually, there are only 1787 studies actually cited, in the following categories:

The longest studies cited are 90-day studies on rodents, which are the longest toxicological tests that the industry generally carries out.

Most (more than 1600) have nothing to do with safety, but are dealing with agronomics, gene flow, biodiversity, opinion pieces, customer or farmer opinion surveys. Only a very few are scientific research into safety, and non are long-term studies.
