A. second generation San Diegan and resident of East County since 1964, Gloria Chadwick, RN, was the first woman to be elected to the board in 22 years and the first woman ever to be elected Board President. Chadwick currently works at the Veterans Administration Hospital in La Jolla in Inpatient Services. She serves as a member of the Legislative Committee of the Association of California Healthcare Districts.
