Citizens Oversight will be announcing the filing of a petition to the California Supreme Court to review the appeal of the our favorable judgment regarding election audit fraud for the 2016 primary in San Diego.

Ray Lutz, says: Friends, our system is corrupt. The 1% manual tally law was clear and simple. 1% sample of all precincts, and vote-by-mail ballots. That's 1% of all of them, not just the one election officials finds "convenient." They had 10 years to learn how to follow the law. Then, in 2016, a very significant primary election, we found Michael Vu was continuing to cut corners. We sued in California Supreme Court and won: All Vote-by-mail ballots had to be included in the audit.

But we have a corrupt system. Vu and other election officials in the state conspired to gut the audit process, and secretly modified an existing bill on signatures on envelopes -- AB-840 -- and added changes to the audit law to allow Vu's malfeasance and make it standard.

Our win in the Superior court was reversed by the Appellate court, with the notion that the law was misunderstood and Vu's gutted version was the one that was originally intended by the legislature, a concept not supported by the evidence.

Now, we have one last hope for our corrupt system, to see if the California Supreme Court will return our win, even though it is now unenforceable due to the change in law.

We must then strive to un-gut the audit process and include all ballots in the sample in any audit through the audit process.

Our oversight of the audit process has exposed corruption and malfeasance that runs much deeper than anyone at first thought.
