This is a subscription service to be automatically notified by e-mail when topics change in this [_1] web. This is a convenient service, so you do not have to come back and check all the time if something has changed. To subscribe, please add a bullet with your [_2] in alphabetical order to this list:

Change Notices

If you subscribe to this list, you will receive notices if anything changes in this web. This is most useful if you want to monitor a specific web page.

CalendarUpdate emails

If you are receiving an email regarding the CalendarUpdate, it will say you should subscribe / unsubscribe using this topic. However, we use the standard mailing lists for distribution, and so you should subscribe/Unsubscribe using those lists. See more here: ListServe. These are currently sent out early Thursday morning and encompass the next two weeks.

# * list@ecdcweb.org : CalendarUpdate!

# * announce@ecdcweb.org : CalendarUpdate!

Unfortunately, the calendar entry is being sent out every day instead of once a week.

Contrary to the documentation, the program ignores any -news operand in the cron invocation.

The related cron entries are as follows: 5 1 * * 4 (cd /home/copswiki/www/w/bin; perl ../tools/mailnotify -news Common) 0 0 * * * (cd /home/copswiki/www/w/bin; perl ../tools/mailnotify -q) The first line should be called once per week, on Thursday at 1:05 am, and should send out the news letters in the Common web. The second line should be called daily at midnight, and send out change notifications to the subscription list.
