Bomb Threat At Scoping Meeting

The public parking lot was closed at the Department of Planning and Land Use, 5201 Ruffin Road, San Diego, CA 92123 on April 5th, 2007, and we were told later that the Sheriff's Dept. was investigating a Bomb Threat.

* The phone call reports list an attempted homicide in Riverside County on 4/3/2007. "In that case, a bomb was placed under her personal vehicle." Perhaps they were talking about his wife?? Thus far, Riverside County Sheriff's Dept has been unresponsive.

Apparently, there were two telephone calls, one on 4/5/2007 and one on 4/26/2007.

• Call 4/5/2007, 9AM to Greg Krzys: Don't know what was said, all redacted. They took the name and phone number.
• Call 4/26/2007, 9:15AM to Glenn Russell. Caller said "Blackwater will not happen" and that "Blackwater will burn down" if it gets to construction. The person left a name and call back number. Bruce Pain is listed as the suspect.

The police department did not explain the closure of the parking lot.
