Citizens in Potrero and San Diego were successful in blocking Blackwater’s attempt to build a training facility in Potrero!

Now Blackwater wants to open an indoor training and shooting facility on Otay Mesa! Located just 500 yards from the international border, this new facility would exacerbate the potential for increased human and civil rights violations to both migrants and members of border communities.

Come, listen and learn about Blackwater and why this company, with its lack of transparency and accountability, is bad for San Diego and why private companies like Blackwater who profit from war, suffering, insecurity and civil unrest undermine our democratic values.
