Have needed a reliable system for gathering contact information at events. Having people sign up using paper and pencil is completely unreliable, and very time consuming to transcribe the names and emails.

  • Purchased quad USB power supply from 12V. 22.50 (Frys) and 12V power receptacle (1.69)

  • Label each one of the tablets units to keep track of them. DONE.

    • Need micro SD cards for new tabs - Purchased at Frys for 5.99 each.

    • Can't see field name when using soft keyboard. Keyboard is weird too.

Notes from first uses:

  • Some people don't know how to get started. You have to touch a field. Made a sign "Sign In here" and "Touch a field to start"
  • Styluses should be made available for people with big fingers who are not used to using a touch screen.
  • Need to block light reflected in. Must be in the shade or have light covers made over them
  • Some people don't have email addresses and they may not know what to do.
