FOUR young men from the Blackwater area have been sent forward for trial in the Circuit Court on charges of assault causing harm and false imprisonment.The quartet of Richard Curran, Ballyvaloo; James Dooley, Crosshue; Brian Dooley, Crosshue, and Micheál Gray, Ballyconnigar, were all present at last Wednesday's sitting of Enniscorthy District Court.

FOUR young men from the Blackwater area have been sent forward for trial in the Circuit Court on charges of assault causing harm and false imprisonment.

The quartet of Richard Curran, Ballyvaloo; James Dooley, Crosshue; Brian Dooley, Crosshue, and Micheál Gray, Ballyconnigar, were all present at last Wednesday's sitting of Enniscorthy District Court.

They had all been served with Books of Evidence. The allegedly injured party was David Sinnott and the charges relate to an incident at Ballyconnigar on July 5, 2006.

Judge William Earley granted free legal aid to the defendants.
